My aim is to explore the intersection between science fiction and contemporary eco-anxieties. I draw on the works of ecocritical theorists, Gothic literature academics, science fiction theorists and video game scholars in an attempt to unpick the manifestations of anthropocentrism and ecological interconnectedness in contemporary media.
